Helping you navigate life

Welcome to Therapy with Jenna

About Me

Hello, I’m Jenna.

I’m deeply passionate about helping others live their lives to the fullest. I became a therapist because I’ve experienced and seen first hand the positive impact and transformation that occur when you connect with someone who offers genuine acceptance, compassion, and a non-judgmental space.

I understand difficulties such as anxiety, stress and trauma make it feel like moving forward or feeling any differently is impossible. I believe with the right support that limiting beliefs and patterns can be uncovered and positive change is possible.

I work with curious compassion, and my integrative approach allows me to tailor therapy to suit your unique needs. By combining psychodynamic, person-centred, and CBT approaches, I can support you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your challenges.

My therapy qualifications

  • SEG Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – Integrative Pathway
  • SEG Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills
  • NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills
Counsellor in Hackney, East London and Online

How I Can Help You

If you’re feeling anxious, lost, lonely, overwhelmed, stuck, unsure about where you are in life or what you want, together, we’ll work to understand where your emotions come from, find ways to manage them, and move toward emotional stability and clarity.

Together, we’ll navigate your concerns in a way that ensures emotional safety and growth. We’ll explore your challenges and develop ways to help you build a life that feels more in balance with who you are and what you truly want.

I can support you with:

  • Cultivating a compassionate relationship with yourself addressing low confidence and self-esteem
  • Understanding people-pleasing tendencies
  • Navigating uncertainty around your own boundaries and how to implement them
  • Learning to trust yourself and your own decisions
  • Overcoming imposter syndrome
  • Working through feelings of shame
  • Managing fear of conflict and confrontation
  • Deepening and balancing your relationships with your partner, family and friends

Working With Me

What to Expect In Sessions

In our first session, we’ll explore your reasons for coming to therapy. Together, we’ll develop what your goals for therapy are and these will form the basis of our work together. We’ll also define what successful therapy would look like to you.

Future sessions will be guided by you, focusing on what matters most to you, while keeping your goals at the core and working towards them.

Throughout our time together, we’ll also check in regularly to make sure the therapy process feels right for you.

Location

I support clients in the daytimes and evenings both in-person and online.

I work in-person at HQ Therapy in Hackney, East London and Highbury, North London.

Session Costs

Sessions are at the same time each week and are 50 minutes.

Sessions cost £70.

Everyone’s therapeutic journey is unique, so I offer both short term therapy (8-12 sessions) or long term which is open-ended, ongoing sessions.

In our initial call and first session, we’ll chat about what you feel you need and decide together on the approach that best suits you.

Next Steps

Finding a therapist who you feel safe, comfortable and understood by is important. To help with this, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call either online or via phone. This is a no-pressure opportunity for us to meet and explore if we’re a good fit.

During the call

  • We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy
  • I’ll share a bit about how I work
  • I’ll check in about your experience of therapy previously
  • We’ll chat about what you hope therapy will help you with
  • You can ask me any questions you have and get a feel if I can support you

Following the call I invite you to take some time to reflect and see if continuing sessions feels right for you.

If we chose to work together, we will move at a pace that feels comfortable to you.
